Investing in T.E.A.C.H. Scholarships provides financial support for child care staff in higher education
Partnerships for Early Learners has a goal to move 300 early childhood professionals towards degrees and credentials by increasing Indiana’s investment in scholarships. By increasing the funds available through T.E.A.C.H. Scholarships, we are expanding educational opportunities for child care practitioners. The first professional recipients received scholarships during the 2016 Spring Semester. The initiative focuses on supporting ECE professionals on a four-year degree on one of four pathways: Director’s Credential, a B.A. degree in Child Development or Early Childhood.
Beginning January 2017, new scholarships will also support the newly developed Master Teacher Certificate. An additional Coach Credential is currently under development by Higher Education partners, Partnership for Early Learners, Indiana AEYC and the Indiana Higher Education Forum.
