As a faith-based child care provider, it can be difficult to find professional development opportunities that best suit your needs. Well, look no further than this year’s Caring In Faith conference, the one-day event (offered twice in March) designed just for you! Join us for a day of growth, fun and fellowship! This year we have two opportunities for staff and directors to attend, from the northern and southern parts of the state:
- Wabash, Indiana: Friday, March 3, 9 am – 4:30 pm
- Nashville, Indiana: Friday, March 10, 9 am – 4:30 pm
This year’s Caring In Faith conference features a range of topics that are appropriate for both directors and teachers. You can choose from breakout sessions that highlight family engagement, healthy choices, creative fundraising, applications of applied behavioral analysis (ABA) principles, and quality improvement.
While we hope you can carve out time for a full day of learning and connection, half-day registrations are available. You can earn up to 6 clock hours of training by attending all day or 3.5 clock hours if you attend the morning or afternoon sessions (including keynote and lunch). A full day session is only $30 and a half day session is $20.
We also have an AMAZING keynote speaker! Wilisha Scaife is a wife, mother and very passionate woman who describes herself as a dreamer and believer. She is a licensed minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and has been preaching for nearly two decades. Wilisha earned her B.S. from Anderson University and her M.A. from Ball State University. She works at Ball State University in the Elementary Education Department, teaching family and community relations courses and also serving as a family engagement liaison and program coordinator. Her passion is working with families, teachers and community members to provide positive constructs for children so they can dream, believe and achieve, conspiring for the success for kids!
We can’t wait to see you! Register today to make sure you save your spot.
